Microbiological Water Quality in watershed Caño Grande

Objective: To analyze the microbiological quality of three tributaries Caño Grande by estimating and comparing indicator groups according to Colombian regulations. Method: Sampling was carried out from September 2022 January 2023. For each monitoring in September, November January, 34 samples were taken, for October December, 30 following protocol Technical Standard NTC 813. The determination performed using multiple tube method plate count. Findings: analysis, results compared with permissible ranges described 86% analyzed Grande, 66% catchment points, 33% filters use above Fecal Coliforms. 100% 83% Aerobic Mesophiles. Molds Yeasts. Novelty: this first study recommend continuing compare over time guide community implementing methods improve resource conditions.
